BIG SNOW!

I had a great visit with Uncle Chad and Aunt Cindy. We did lots of day trips and I got to go along, usually riding in my crate, but occasionally snuggling in a lap. On Saturday, we went up to Duck Creek Village to see snow. There was a LOT of it. I got to play in it for a while, but then I was ready for a warm nap. I'm going to see my new vet on Thursday to get my second shots and meet the doctor. He's going to love me! Dad's gotten tons of compliments on my beauty and behavior... in fact, a family visiting from California got Dad's number so they can contact Julie about a brother or sister of mine. I'm resting right now before lunch, but enjoy these pictures of my adventures!

My Sister...

This is my sister, Tempest. Mom and Dad say she is fun and that she'll get used to me, but all she's done so far is hiss at me. She hides a lot in Mom and Dad's room and in this room where I'm never allowed to go. I'm sure it's got to be the coolest place ever, and I am desperate to get in there!

My First Christmas

So I had been getting up with Dad every 2 hours at night. Now, Mom is the one who gets up with me. Also, I had been spending my days at the job site with Dad, but now Mom is home with me all day. Here's how we spent Christmas day...Mom and Dad and I all lazing about watching movies and napping. It was my idea of a great day!

Let It Snow!

Not long after I got to Utah, we had snow. Dad watched me run right into it and play. I don't mind it at all... Except then Mom thinks my paws have to be cleaned.

How I Came to Utah

I was born in Valencia, CA. My dad was from Portugal, and my mom is a California native. I had 2 sisters and 3 brothers. (Here are my brothers...) The Domke's took great care of us, and we had lots of love. When Grammie, Mom, and Dad came to choose me, I was very curious and brave. Dad said I stood well, and Mom thinks I have a beautiful face. We rode in the car back to Apple Valley, CA, and I did really well!! Only one little accident, but no car-sickness. We stopped at this great place with lots of toys and food on our way home. There were a lot of other dogs and cats, but everyone wanted to see me. I could get to like this! Then we stayed at Grammie's house. She has other dogs and cats. There were a lot of good smells everywhere. I learned to potty on Grammie's grass, but if I can't hold it.... Then we drove home to Utah. That was a LONG car ride. I let Dad know every time I had to go potty - we stopped A LOT.When we finally got to Utah, we went to bed. This is my crate...I sleep in it, and ride in the car in it, and take naps in it at the job site with Dad.

Introduction to Me

My name is Sarah. I am now 9 weeks and 6 days old. Mom will be typing this for me, because quite frankly, I'd rather sleep and chew things. Mom and Dad take tons of pictures of me, and they will put some of them here. I asked for editorial privileges, but since I have a 2-second attention span, I'm going to have to trust them. More later!
